Lots of Sickness for Waterville School

Reports of large-scale absenteeism at Waterville Elementary School
cannot be attributed to anything but a lot of colds going around,
according to Principal Bonny Grant.
With a population of just 92 students, not counting pre-schoolers, last
Friday, December 10's total of 25 students absent was an unusually high
number, said Grant. On Tuesday, December 14, there were 27 students
absent. She also noted that, "We are making sure that the custodian
washes down all surfaces every night with an anti-bacterial solution,
and the teachers are actively making sure that the kids wash their hands
as often as possible."
The Holiday Concert scheduled for Wednesday, December 15, has been
postponed until Monday, December 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the Waterville
