Lanpher Library Gains $30,000

The Lanpher Memorial Library Addition/Renovation Project has received a
$30,000 grant from the State of Vermont Recreational/Educational
Facilities Grant Program. Application to the program was recommended by
Senator Susan Bartlett, D-Lamoille County.
The REFGP goal is to provide competitive grants to municipalities and
non-profit organizations to stimulate the creation and development of
recreational and educational opportunities for community youth.
The Lanpher Library expansion project includes a new children's area and
increased space for many of the library's youth programs.
While brick meets mortar the fundraising effort continues. Contributions
are tax deductible, and may be directed to the Lanpher Memorial Library
at PO Box 196, Hyde Park, VT 05655.
