Please disregard the letter to the editor “School Security” on page 2 of the February 26 issue of the News & Citizen. We have been informed by Superintendent Joe Ciccolo that facts in the letter are simply false. For example: Neither the school nor the principal are under any kind of investigation.

The News & Citizen believes other allegations or presentations of “fact” in the text of the letter could be false or erroneous.

The News & Citizen regrets publishing this letter and sincerely apologizes to anyone affected by its publication.
