An accident at about 7:30 a.m. on Monday, November 26, tied up traffic for about an hour.

According to Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department Corporal Andrew Plante, a 2001 Ford Focus driven by  Colleen Twomey, 23, of Johnson, lost control in the S-curves  after meeting a plow truck on Route 15 east of Johnson village, near the Nadeau Pit.  The Focus struck a 2009 Honda Accord, driven by Kim Peluso, 40, of Hyde Park.

Both lanes of traffic were closed for about a half hour after the accident and traffic was limited to one lane until about 8:30 a.m.

There were no injuries reported in the accident.
